sitting, waiting, wishing...

I am not a particularly patient person.  Not at all in fact.  When I want something, I get it.  I don't wait.  Waiting for baby Hank is certainly a lesson in patience for me.  The doctor said on Monday that I had progressed.  2 centimeters dilated and 100% effaced.  I was on cloud nine after that appointment.  I was sure that our next appointment scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday would never happen.  Considering I am having absolutely no contractions as of today though, would likely indicate that I will be making that bright and early doctors appointment tomorrow.  So, we wait, walk, wait, nap, wait and wish for the sweet boy inside of me to show himself...

Patient puppies...

Hoping this is the last dinner I make before baby Hank arrives...

Oooooh girl! I know all too well what you're going through! I have my 40 week appointment tomorrow too and I was just sooo certain I would not need it but alas, here I am as pregnant as ever! Praying for progress for both of us!!

Praying for you! I heard pineapple helps induce too, apparently you're not suppose have it in early pregnancy for that reason. Who knows the evidence behind that one, but I'm sure you are willing to try anything at this point!

dont worry so much about dilation, contractions, etc. i was only 1 cm dilated and had ZERO contractions (not really any braxton hicks either!) when my water broke. so dont think thats holding you back.

keep up with the walking and spicy food! he is coming soon, soon, SOON! :)

Thanks Holly! That seriously gives me a big sigh of relief. I sure hope he decides to arrive this weekend! Mama would be extra grateful ;)
